Hancock Place School District is proud to host the 7th Annual Blake Snyder Memorial Community Coat Giveaway on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Hancock Elementary School. 💙🧥
This special event helps keep families warm—one coat at a time—with brand-new coats, socks, gloves, hats, hygiene items, school supplies, and snacks for kids (while supplies last).
✨ NEW THIS YEAR: We will also have free food available for families as part of our community support efforts. Come by for warm clothing and grab some food items to take home, while supplies last.
We are grateful for the many generous sponsors and volunteers who make this event possible each year in honor of Officer Blake Snyder. 💛
Please don't miss our event this Wednesday, November 12th, at the Early Childhood Center from 6pm to 7pm provided by the Magic House. Their program, Little Bit of STEAM, requires parents to be on time at 6pm for a brief explanation in the lobby of what will be provided in our gym area. Activities will include science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics! It will be a fantastic time for you to interact with your child and see their excitement with the engaging activities. I also attached our events list again, as a reminder to set your calendar for our wonderful opportunities this school year.

Hello Preschool Program Parents,
We have parent conferences tomorrow, Tuesday, from 3:30pm to 7:30pm, and on Friday, from 8am to 11:30am. Your child's teacher should have you scheduled for a specific time to share how your child is performing academically, behaviorally, and social emotionally. Please arrive to the school 5 minutes before your scheduled time so you can begin your meeting and have as much time with the teacher as possible; teachers have multiple conference times scheduled so they will only be able to meet for the scheduled time with you. On your way out, please take a slice of pizza for Tuesday evening Early Childhood Center attendees or taco bar at Elementary, and a kolache for Monday morning attendees at both locations.
