Our Preschool & PAT Group Connection Event at the Early Childhood Center will be Thursday, February 20th from 6pm to 7pm! Ms. Laura from the St. Louis County Library will be returning as our host after leading a fun and engaging event in January!

Mark your calendars! Our final Preschool & PAT Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting of the year is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Throughout our meetings, we've covered key topics such as school safety, student learning tools, and most recently, screen time and program processes. Please see our Facebook or your email for a couple pictures from our last meeting.
Childcare will be available for potty-trained children who can follow directions. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by emailing me your name, child’s name, and childcare needs (if applicable, include the number of children).

In our first meeting, I provided an overview of our preschool and PAT programs, as well as a focus on school safety measures and protocols. In the second meeting, we focused on student learning, which included Learning Without Tears, Conscious Discipline, Seesaw, and more. Our NEXT PAC meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 5:30pm to 7pm in the Boardroom at Central Office. We will have childcare during that time for children who are potty trained and behave well. We have an amazing buildings and grounds team at Hancock Place! They've been plowing and shoveling our schools and we are excited to start the second semester tomorrow! Everyone take it slow and be patient as melted snow will refreeze overnight #hpsdtigers #weareopen

Reminder that tomorrow is one of our half days. Please pick your child up at 11:40 if they are a full day student. If they are a morning half day student, dismissal is at the regular time, but afternoon half day students do not have school tomorrow. We also do not have aftercare tomorrow.
